The VHVI technology provides for deep cleansing of oil fractions of petroleum with their subsequent treatment with catalytic hydrocracking. As a result, the structure and properties of the base stock undergo changes at the molecular level.
Such oil is called hydrocracking and it is related to synthetic products. The hydrocracking oils possess properties similar to FSH (fully synthetic hydrocarbons), however, their cost is significantly lower.
